In these terms and conditions, “we”, “us”, and “our” means The Grand Palace – Indian Restaurant at Basement, 261 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. “Physical premise” means Basement, 261 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. “Digital media” means our website (www.thegrandpalace.com.au) and all its components, all proprietary and third party marketing and digital media we use, including those that are not listed here. “You” means the dining in as well as online ordering customers of The Grand Palace – Indian Restaurant. By using physical premise and digital media, you agree to our terms and conditions.
We reserve the rights to revise these terms and conditions without any prior notice to anyone to ensure our ongoing compliance with legislation, protect the interest of our business and our customers, and the reasons not listed here.
KITCHEN CLOSING TIME
Our kitchen closes half an hour before the closing time for lunch and dinner. All food orders must be placed before the kitchen closes. Below are the timings:
Lunch: Mon-Fri – Kitchen open until 2:30PM
Dinner: Sun-Thur – Kitchen open until 9:30PM
Dinner: Fri-Sat – Kitchen open until 10:00PM
PRIVACY POLICY
We recognise the importance of protecting your privacy and its confidentiality. Information we receive from your use of our physical premise and digital media is used only to provide the best service to our customers. This information is stored securely and is not shared with any other party.
ONLINE PAYMENT
When you make a payment via our digital media, your payment details are processed securely by our gateway payment partner. A secure record of your payment details is kept for the duration while your order is being processed, and is discarded safely after the order has been served. We do not keep the details of cards with us.
PAYMENT WITHIN OUR PHYSICAL PREMISE
We use a payment processing system for taking the payment of customer’s bills. The payment terminals read the customer’s credit/debit/eftpos cards and debits the amount from these cards. We do not keep the details of cards with us.
OUR LEGAL RIGHTS
We reserve the rights to use or disclose any information without giving any notice or seeking a consent for meeting our obligations to satisfy any law/regulation or legal requests or possible breach of law; for conducting the investigations of consumer complains; for protecting the integrity of our site, assets, business, and intelligence property; for protecting the safety of our guests and staff and others; for fulfilling our customer’s requests; or for cooperating the enforcement agencies for any legal investigation.
FOOD QUALITY
We prepare our dishes in our own unique ways. Our dishes contain oil. If the customers don’t like the oily food, it can’t be held against us. Customers have a choice whether to consume the food or not.
RETURNS POLICY
We do not exchange or refund Gift Cards. We also do not exchange or refund product for change of mind or not liking the taste. If we supply an incorrect product or there is a fault in the product, we will replace the product at no additional cost to the customers.

Redeeming of Gift Cards in conjunction with any other offer/promotion will be at TGP’s discretion. By purchasing TGP Gift Card, the customer agrees to subscribe to marketing communication from TGP.
TGP Gift Cards are not Valid on public holidays, observed holidays, and special event days like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Diwali, New Year’s Eve. TGP reserves the rights to declare other days as Special event days as per their own discretion.
